Recreational Pilot Permit
A Recreational Pilot Permit allows virtually anyone to start flying. Recreational Pilot Permit holders may fly a four seat aircraft while carrying a maximum of one passenger anywhere in Canada. Ideal for those at both ends of the age spectrum, teens and seniors, or those with medical conditions.
Requirements:
- 14 years of age to fly solo
- 16 years to receive the permit
- Category 4 Medical
- Proof of Citizenship
Minimum Course Requirements:
- 25 flight hours, comprise of
- 5 solo & 15 dual flight hours
- RPPAE or PPAER exam completed
- Flight Test
